Rave Reviews

The author was my older brother’s best friend and I liked how he use his knowledge of history of Ohio and inserting it into the story line. A history teacher himself, always a teacher, I learned facts of history I didn’t know. It is well written and hard to set down.”

“Full of intrigue and plot twists, this book is hard to put down! Double Down is a great read with an ending that you won't see coming. If you enjoy murder mysteries, this is a book that you must add to your collection!”

“Good read couldn't put down. Was interesting as to history and some of the stupid things the government did that, they thought was right. May have been

a better story if written as if Stone was writing.”

“The author, a historian, weaves a tale of murder and international intrigue through the lens of nefarious, joint big business and U.S. Government backed programs dating back decades. It leaves the reader wondering if that is what is happening today.”

“Such a great book! Really kept me entertained and thinking.”

“Keeps the reader engaged. Looking forward to more books from Mike Gilbert the author.”

“A great whodunnit that leaves you guessing up to the very end! Many twists and turns that keep the reader engaged.”
